... place with photos of all the touristy stuff we see if you really feel the need to see them now. Enough of my excuses, back to the good stuff. Next we crossed a bridge and could see the old Charles bridge off in the distance. Silly me forgot to take a picture when we actually crossed it (the beer and gelato shot was taken on the bridge however) after lunch, but again Maggie has some great shots from it. However before we crossed it, we headed to a wall covered in graffiti known as ...

... cases off, with 30 or 40 others all walking a brisk pace down the stairs I spot a lift which gets us down, but well behind the crowd and last to the bus. No room so we get to stand in the drivers cab, which works out real well later as we are first off. But that is not for another half hour, we pull up to a train, well it just an engine with a (as in 1) carriage attached. No station here, just a ramp between lines, anyway we drag our gear up and onto the carriage. I have to ...

... starting from the 1400s -- the Convent itself a work of art. A few hours later, we returned to the Old Town Square, the Astronomical Clock for the 2 pm show (got video this time), and off to find the Cafe Louvre for a very late 3 pm lunch. The large billiards room would have suited us well had it been raining at the time, but ...

... we'll never see it like that as it's too big of an attraction...unless we show up at 5am. (Never going to happen.)

We hurried across the bridge, keen to get away from the claustrophobia caused by all the people and started on our own little food tour of Prague. First up was coffee and cake. It was OK, nothing I care to elaborate on. As it was nearing 6pm we considered the beer tour again but ultimately decided it wouldn't be worth the cost so instead ...

Some additional photos from Prague

These are some additional photos from our stay in Prague.

The Fred and Ginger House is especially for Marcella. Nice mixture of old and new architecture along the Vltava.

Enjoyed a nice stroll through the Rose Gardens at the top of the funicular and magnificent views of course. Keeping up with the blog is hard going given our busy schedule.

Hope you like them.
