This morning Dale and Tony popped down to a nearby Boulangerie and picked up a variety of pastries for breakfast. We were out the door reasonably early and walked down to Charles bridge and across the Vltava river, fortunately the bridge wasn't crammed with tourists.

... to taste the local brew from Prague. I had a dark beer and Adam had their 11* from a tank. The food looked delicious but because we had already decided where we were having dinner, we headed off again. Number 4 was a place called Lokal, again another recommendation from Paul and actually also on the Urban Adventures list. Their beer is also in a tank, so thought to be more fresh as it has come straight from the brewery. We had to wait awhile for a table but it was worth it. Again ...

... 260 km from Passau) .some of the roads were pretty rough and we only got on motorway when we were about an hour out of the city. It was a door to door service so we were safely delivered to our hotel Unitas. It's on a dingy street opposite a police station but once inside it is fantastic!!!!
