A nice modern apartment, that's comfortable and functional. Location is handy to everything, especially Galeries Lafayette, the Citadium and train stations.

After a short sleep-in this morning, it was time to experience some kid time at Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios, two parks about 45 minutes by train from Paris. We made our way to Auber station on the RER A line to catch the train to Marne-la-Vallee Chessy. Fortunately, Auber is only two blocks from our hotel which made it easy, and the …

This morning we set off on foot through the streets of Paris on our way to our pre-booked Eiffel Tower tour. Today was a more leisurely day, with only one thing on the agenda, shopping on the Champs-Élysées, which is probably one of the world's best known shopping strips.

A quick train ride from Auber near our hotel to the next station Charles de Gaulle Etoile at the Arc de Triomphe, and we're at the top of the avenue. It's a shared shopping …

Bonjour de la magnifique ville de Paris, or for those not fluent in French, hello from the magnificent city of Paris.

Today we decided to take in the full beauty of this amazing city by taking a double decker bus starting just two blocks from our hotel at the Paris Opera. Being Sunday, the streets were quiet as the shops are closed in the …

On our last morning in London, we were up early to finish packing before heading off to Paris today. We left the hotel around 8.30am headed for St Pancras Station and the Eurostar. Another helpful black cab driver and far less traffic than yesterday, combined to get us to the station well before the 10.25am departure time. Once inside St Pancras, …
