Many phone calls and messages to start Christmas Day. So nice to talk to everyone, who all had full bellies and happy tales to tell. By this time, the heavens had opened and the rain was pelting down. We still had about 200 metres to walk from the bus stop, which was far enough to get both ourselves and our luggage soaking wet.
