... to pick up our luggage and took the tram (5) and headed to the central train station. Our train arrived at 3:30pm and we boarded it. We had first class seats, so we had reserved seating and the cabin was more spacious with luggage racks above. ... The rain increased and the temp dropped so we quickly crossed the bridge and headed into Jewish Town.
In the Old Jewish Cemetery, the oldest tombstone dates from 1439, so this gives an indication how long a Jewish community has been in Prague. Burials took place in the cemetery until 1787.
