Then we went to look at a village inside castle walls.
On the last day we went to Avignon. It was FREEZING!

... the famous Wednesday St Remy markets which sell all kinds of local goodies. The choice of cheeses, olives, tapenades and fresh produce is outstanding. In saying that it's not really cheap and of course touristic. Melbournites are definitely spoilt with Prahran and Sth Melbourne markets where a lot of the fresh produce and meat is easily better than here. We had a bit of a sleep in today and then off to Avignon to drop off of our first visitor, so back to Avignon TGV train station and we say goodbye to Dave, he is off to manage the stage lighting for the Glastonbury music festival in a couples weeks time.
