    Riding the Cinque Terre Trains!

    ... village and came home. It was pretty hot by this time and we'd just spent two and a half hours waiting for trains or riding them! We've since heard other people saying they've done the same thing!

    Monterosso was very picturesque with two beaches with a few swimmers and lots of empty sun chairs. I think everyone was out riding the trains like us!!!

    ... planned to take a boat ride down the Cinque Terra coastline but because of the 'not so good' weather one of the towns was not accessible. That was fine with us, just wanted to see this coastline from the water and to stop off at the small towns was an added bonus. First stop was Riomaggiore. Getting off the boat was a challenge.     ... out on a rock ledge in the harbor, just beautiful. We walked all through the town and up to a church (Jan remembers this church!).
