      ... couldn’t resist. Both Dodge and Clyde have accepted her really well and she is house trained and on solids without issue. She even stole and ate a rat that Clyde had caught and brought back. He let her have it and immediately went out and caught another for himself.       It was a long 5 hour drive today to get to the Pyrenees but it was worth every minute of it to round a corner and see the snow capped mountains in the distance. We arrived at our campsite at Bagneres de Bigorre just south of Tarbes in the Haut Pyrenees about 2pm and were amazed to see the elusive yellow ball (aka the sun) in the sky….yeee haaa!!


      Our campsite is stunning, situated at the foot of the Pyrenees, there are currently only 2 vans staying ...

      ... visitor in the night(s)

      As we left Lourdes behind, a glance over our left shoulders towards the Pyrenees revealed the places where we had such a good time, covered with snow. Proper thick snow, that although undoubtable beautiful, would have wrecked the riding of the last few days.

      Its been truly magical, we have been so lucky.

      Next you will hear from us we will probably be in Avoriaz. Cheers just now.

      ... waterfall continually remarking on the spectacular site!

      Today was an easier day...we took the cable car and then then the ski lift to the top of the mountain and then walked down. We spied 5 Pyrennean vultures sitting on a hill and as we passed they took off and then flew on the thermals down the mountain beside us - awesome!
      The Tour de France comes through very close to us on Thursday and ...

      ... snow that the one ski lift is open and everyone is either snow-shoeing or cross country skiing. Whilst it has been very hard work for the team working in the resorts and a logistical nightmare at times, the through traffic has been like old times and a much-improved turnover is predicted.
