    ... We ended up following part of the Tour de France, stopping at Lac de Payolle. This is in the Pyrenees national park. You can camp where you like. Bikers, cyclists, walkers, cars and vans all live happily alongside ponies and cattle. The cows have a leader who wears a bell.
