... we had a great coastal walk, in search of la Vierge sur le rocher. We stopped at a café for hot drinks and directions. In addition to the directions, the owners offered us crêpes to share-we got to try their caramel, sugar, nutella and chocolate crêpes. Sweet! :) We had dinner on the way back to the hotel. We're doing great, and creating new friendships with our travel companions, a group from St. Louis, Missouri, and one from Colorado. Good ...

So leaving all of the joys of Paris behind us, we caught the TVG from Gare Montparnasse. This is a fast train so it was hard to keep up with the passing countryside, but we did see some beautiful sights!! Field after field of wheat, and ...

Slippery little suckers

... to clear up..", “Here comes the rain again”, “Rain, feel it on my fingertips’, as we dawdled behind cautious holiday drivers in a massive road-train of vehicles. Again, it didn’t take long before declared we could only take another hour of this at most. The further south we got, the heavier the rain, and the heavier the holiday traffic. Everyone would slow through the towns causing a panicked chain reaction of breaking, and we spent the ...
