Shown to room where showered and I crashed for a small sleep. Down to the pool and a swim followed by total relaxation and another sleep for me. Finally came right changed for dinner into our crinkly clothes and sat enjoying the 30deg plus heat with a large beer. We chose the Formule for dinner (budget) and it was very good, three course for 19 Euro.

... fast. Rod has got neck problems so he isnt feeling the best, not a good time to have a stiff neck. We think this happened in Bordeaux when he nearly fell off his bike. His wheel got caught in a tram track, he saved himself from a total fall but could have pulled muscles in his shoulder and neck due to all the weight of the paniers on the bike. Started the day with a brilliant breakfast by Martine & Bruno, Croissants, baguette, scrambled egg, jambon, fromage, homemade selection of confitures, Acacia Miel, fresh fruit, walnuts, yoghurt, fruit juice, and the finale grande black coffee all in the price.
We met a delightful couple from Belgium who were there for the third time and drove 900km to stay for three nights.

I think we are about 35 or so locks from Toulouse and still going up, our altitude at present is somewhere more than 150m above sea level, we reach max, alt adout twenty miles past Toulouse I think.
