The Todd takes the time to walk me to the bus I'll need to get back to the camp ground at the end of the day, shows me which buses will get me there and tells me the name of my stop which I immediately forget. ... 2380952835083px;">We headed towards the Charles Bridge, which, as expected, was packed with people. We kept wandering through narrow streets in the direction of Old Town Square, checking out the location of ATMs along the way so that we could withdraw our first Czech Korunas. Old Town Square was amazing. Surrounded by beautiful old buildings and the Astronomical Clock, it was a spectacular sight. Just like the bridge, it was crowded with ...

... the situation in and of itself would not have been a problem. I like dogs; I’m a veterinarian, after all. The problem was that Jack came with an owner, and she was not the most pleasant person to sit next to for 7 hours. If I only I could learn to lie effectively (and convincingly) and tell people I am actually a librarian (vs. a veterinarian), things might be easier sometimes. I am now intimately familiar with Jack’s entire life history, from ...
