... we decide to go find some food. They had these carts where they sell authentic Czech food, so I decided I wanted to get a little by of the potatoes, cabbage, and ham to tie me over until we find food. Well the lady fills this bowl with potatoes and you pay by the kg. The total was about $17 for a bowl of potatoes, so I ask for a smaller portion and she wasn't having it. Perceptions of Prague Part Two

... had a different type of music. The first floor was salsa music, the second techno, and the third floor (which was actually the basement) was pop. We had a great time dancing, and made it back to the dorms in the early morning hours.

Prague is definitely a city that I will be returning to; it is impossible to see it all in less than two days. There are many sculptures, museums, and monuments that I still need to see.

... gold, silver, gemstones and pearls. Every morning we are awakened by the bells of this church and on the hour, a marian hymn is chimed.
Before relaxing we wandered down the hill to Novy Svet. This street is lined by picturesque low houses that were built in 17th century to replace the medieval slums that burnt down in 1541. Very decorative house signs on many of these houses.
We had a great day. No rain and lots of wonderful sights and history

... seen has been well maintained and spotlessly clean. Not only the tourist places but even the streets and sidewalks are clean and free from litter or graffiti.

First we stopped to see the St Vitus Cathedral. The story goes that construction started in the year 1344 when King John of Luxembourg decided that the city needed a larger church. Construction continued off and for nearly 6 centuries, stopping for the multitude of wars and economic down-turns. ...
