Excellent stay at B35
At B35 we had a wonderful stay. We were a group of six friends so we booked A1 apartment that has three bedrooms.
The apartment was extremely clean, with central heating and hot water all day long. It has a kitchen too.
B35 is located exactly 5 minutes from the center of Prague by tram (No 6 or No11). The public transportation is excellent. We never waited over a minute at the tram station.
But the best thing of B35 is its reception. Petra and Vladimir were very polite and gave us accurate information about where to exchange, to eat e.t.c.
We suggest B35 to everyone who wants a relevant cheap stay, near the center of Prague, at a very clean and comfortable apartment.
Habe für meine 4-köpfige Familie in Prag Residence Belehradska 35 ein App. gebucht, A4, super sauber, toller Service, Zentrumsnah, Familienfreundlich, sehr empfehlenswert Preis Leistungsverhältnis sehr zufriedenstellend, super Aussicht von der Terasse. Genial.
We had a terrible experience at this hotel. When we arrived to the residence we realized that the hotel was not located in a very nice area of Prague. We were told we couldn't park our car on the street or the windows would be smashed, but the hotel didn't provide parking. We also quickly realized that we were located much further away from the area we were here to see (40 minutes) due to traffic. We stayed our first night and told them we would be leaving early. They made us pay for two additional nights in cash, even though the cancellation policy (which we had in writing) said you would only be charged for one nights stay on your credit card. They refused to acknowledge this, even though we had the paperwork. Rather than argue the point we just paid and left. I strongly suggest that you do NOT stay there!
I really enjoyed my stay in the single apartment. The rooms were clean and the kitchen had everything from a cutting board to a coffee maker. The location is great too. Just a few tram stops from the main areas. The only inconvience was the absence of a phone, but they had free internet. The staff was very helpful too.
Great Value For Money
I stayed in one of the single rooms (S-5) and paid EUR44/CZK1000 per night in October, which is still just in high season. It would be even cheaper if I had waited until November.
I spent a lot of time searching for something cheaper and found very little.
The apartment is very spacious, even though it is one of the smallest that the residence does, with a decent sized kitchen. If I was really being picky, then I would say that I was a little disappointed that there were 2 single beds in the room rather than a double and the quality of the furniture was a little cheap. But this is a minor problem. Most important was the fact that the place was spotlessly clean.
A huge bonus was the fact that each apartment has wi-fi coverage and a broadband socket, with no charges for being online. As I need to spend a minimum of 2 hours a day online to keep my business going, this is a major plus point in a budget apartment like this.
As others have said, the apartment is not right in the center, but there is a tram stop right outside the door and the number 6 tram takes you to within a few minutes walk of most of the sites.
All in all, highly recommended.
**A5 apartment**. A fantastic apartment. Extremeley clean, Very spacious. Very well furnished with everything bar the food. We wanted for nothing. The staff are very friendley and helpful. It is a 15/20 minute walk or a three minute walk to the tram and a 5 minute ride from the center. It is in a great position. I would highly recommend this accomdation. A totally enjoyable stay ( 14/09/06 - 17/09/06 ). We also used the taxi service by the Hotel, proved cheaper.

Great place to stay
My boyfriend and myself stayed in apartment N1 at B-35 place. It was really great. The rooms are big, very-very well equipped and clean. You will not miss anything, there is even wi-fi internet all over the place. The staff is very nice and will do everything to help you. It is not located right in the middle of all the turistic places which makes it even better since it could be very crowed in those areas and much more expensive. You just need to take the tramway # 6 or # 11 that stops right in front of the flats and you will be in all the action in 5 minutes. Or you can walk and get there in 15 minutes.
I really recommend for everyone looking for a nice place to stay and avoid being ripped off in some better located hotels. To me, these apartments are just great. And don't miss out having dinner in the restaurant 100 meter down the road of B-35, just in the old train station. You can eat there really great local food for 20 dollars. I promise you it is a lot better than what you find downtown. Have fun !
Apartment Convenience in Prague
B-35 exceeded our expectations, giving us not just a specious room but our own Kitchen and bathroom, both private and roomy. The reception hallway is also impressive and modern. Guests get electronic key card security and access to a free internet terminal which is troublefree. Their website contains accurate photos which don't exagerate the space.
The fully equipped kitchen is a real find. The supermarket up the street sells very cheap food which you can prepare in your room, saving you loads of money. The only problem is you need to wash the dishes you use. It would be especially good for long stays in Prague. The rooms S1-S6 could also sleep upto 4 people for even greater budgeting.
Not right in the tourist centre but it's a convenient spot. From subway I P Pavlova, walk or catch tram 6 or 11 to Nuselske Schody. Some people walked everywhere in Prague from B-35 and didn't use public transport.
Belehradska Apartments great place to stay.
Stayed at the Residence Belehradska 35 Apartments. Great value at £40 per night for the apartment, for four people.
Good location only three tram stops from town, two stops I.P. Pavlova for metro C. Close enough to easily get into town, yet far enough out, to avoid being ripped off, or pickpocketed. Tram numbers 11, 6,56.
The apartments are newly renovated and furnished to a high standard, and are perfectly secure. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
There is a good selection of restaurants within a five minute walk, with main courses from 125kc.
Local bars are very pleasant and friendly with a selection of beers at around 27 kc. .5L
Try the Woodstock right across the street. 50s 60s music, and the CDs which you cannot get in England, are for sale.
Would definately stay here again.

Prague is a very historical city with a high industrial economy. It was once the capital of the Holy Roman Empire and played a major role in the Thirty Year’s War, both World Wars, and the Communist era. It’s absolutely gorgeous and we had perfect weather while we were there. Our hostel was outside of the city center unfortunately, but the public transportation was easy enough to use. Prague ...

It was not the bus that that the man from the pension suggested, but google maps said that this one took you to a stop just 300 meters away from the pension. Darn google maps, that bus stop was not 300 meters but closer to 3 miles away from our destination. Luckily three other passengers helped us to contact the man at the pension and to get us a taxi to take ...

We stopped off at the Rudolfinum, a music auditorium, situated on Jan Palach Square (named after the 21 year old who immolated himself in 1969 to protest against the Soviet occupation, whom I wrote about yesterday). The building had awesome statues of famous composers on the top, such as Mozart, Bach, Handel and Beethoven.
