    ... was starting to feel the pinch. She hit the wall at 39km - only 1km short of yesterday. To give her due, she did very well under trying circumstances.     ... br> I am a bit puzzled as to why there is sand on this side of the Adriatic and rock on the other. My guess is that it is the current that dumps the sand on this side. Is worth a Google to find out. The sand here is heavy in clay, not as clean as our sand on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts.

    ... hats on. The rescue craft are a stand on wooden flat boat with two oars. We had one of them in the water near us. He was a real tosser! We enjoyed the water and the swim before we headed back poolside. I realized how hot it was when ventured out of the water. The water close to the beach was hot, real hot.
