... She thought by then that the funeral would be finished but no, so sat and had a coffee nearby and noticed people going in and out of a side door and did the same. The service was coming to an end, just in time to see the procession lead by approx 50 priests in their vestments followed by the Bishop holding his crook (stick) then the coffin. My fear came true when I woke up this morning… I was so sore from the day before I could barely move! I dragged my butt out of bed, stretched as much as I could, then went down for some breakfast, hoping that I would loosen up after a bit. We got a later start due to a restless nights sleep. Nice hotel but noisy neighborhood around it. The weather however was perfect for touring Verona today. After breakfast at the hotel (coffee was strong!!) we set out to cover many of the sights we had seen the day before on our wine tour but did not stop and enjoy.

One thing I didn't mention is that by now most of the busload of people were enjoying a shared 'cold/flu/sinus infection' that.....initially sniffles and coughs blamed on a 'chill from the airconditioning' I can vouch for as a BLOODY VIRUS OR BACTERIAL INFECTION you idiots.
