... was open and what trains I needed to get and the timing worked out perfectly. I got to the train station, bought my return ticket, and only had to wait about ten minutes for the train. I got on and a Spanish family (father, mother and daughter) sat next to me. I ended up chatting with them for the hour ride to Kutna Hora and ran into them a few times during the day in the town as well. The father (Juan) gave me his business card and said that I can ...

Our hosts were a couple from Maine, USA who had come to Czech Republic 13 years ago to live life without debt! They have 2 sons, grade 6 and 10, and are living the dream in this postcard perfect town. Armed with a map and directions, we headed into the town to find a little restaurant literally over-hanging ...

... either Mozart, Handel, or Vivaldi, but I had never heard it before so I will have to do some online listening to find what it was. We decided to check out some Czech Crystal and decided that yes it was cheap and beautiful, but transportation of it for the next three weeks would be way too hard to make it worth the price. We then found a late night dinner at a place called lavicka, meaning bench and bought what appeared to be laundry detergent from a small shop before turning in for the ...
