... and got into the water. I was swimming near the shore because I was scared of drowning in the sea. As I swam, a celebrity of sorts was getting her portfolio clicked in the sea - totally nude. Wow!! I didn't feel like getting out but the locker charges were on half hourly basis and I was really getting tanned.

In the evening, I took the bus to Monte Carlo. My prime objective was to see the F1 track but as luck would have it I missed ...

What a great day we had today! We decided to start with the Grande Corniche road that is the highest road that winds from Nice to past Monaco to Menton. There is so much of it there. Where else can you see a Bentley, followed by a Lamborghini, followed by an Aston Martin, followed by a Ferrari driving down the street? I now know what obscene wealth looks like.

We actually had to take a tender into the port from the cruise ship. We almost didn't stop in Monaco because there were 30 foot swells in the morning and the Captain didn't want to risk having any of his passengers falling out of the tender. But ...

    I'm in Monte Carlo baby!

Well, I am writing this entry from Switzerland. Sitting at the Geneva airport. My flight from Barcelona to Geneva (to connect onto a flight to Nice) was delayed and then delayed again which meant I missed my connecting flight. Was originally angry about this cause I have lost a day of travel time, but it has given me the opportunity to sort some photos and begin my Monte Carlo relax period. Was fortunate that there was a later flight with seats available and ...
