What is it about music that suddenly seems to bring people to life? Even the people on the promenade, watching the restaurant below, could not help but join in the lively beat of the reggae. The music just compels people to move and within no time friends and strangers loose inhibitions just to enjoy the freedom of music and each others company.

We caught the bus to the Casino, and walked from there back to the harbor area, had an overpriced meal that was something to forget at some removable restaurant that probably only got placed back there last week after the Monaco Grand Prix. There is so much of it there. Where else can you see a Bentley, followed by a Lamborghini, followed by an Aston Martin, followed by a Ferrari driving down the street? I now know what obscene wealth looks like.
We actually had to take a tender into the port from the cruise ship. We almost didn't stop in Monaco because there were 30 foot swells in the morning and the Captain didn't want to risk having any of his passengers falling out of the tender. But ...
