    I spent only a few days in my family in the Alps, but it was absolutely fabulous!
    When family and really good friends meet after not seeing each other for years, it feels so natural, like nothing has changed, we are just together, now, period.
    So, I did enjoy our time together, then, period. No Internet, no phone, no pictures. It was our time together and we loved every minute of it.

    ... this meant the snow season wasn't over just yet. Unfortunately as this new snow fell Deans season came to a grinding halt. Toby, a friend who was riding with Dean drove him straight to hospital to get his shoulder looked at. Lucky to escape with bones still in tact and some pretty impressive X-Rays, Dean had to spend a week or so resting. I finally had a lightbulb moment with my snowboarding early in March. ...

    ... can no longer go out at night and snowboard on form the next day. Muriel, Jonas and I made a good go of it but my feet wouldn't remember how to ride and my board wouldn't do as I asked.
