Long train ride from Rothenburg to Bolzano, Italy! We had to take a small train that we barely made on time to steinach. Then called a train their 4 minutes later to treuchtlingen, then 5 min after that a train to Muchen (Munich). Before our last train to Bolzano Italy. In all we left at 9:06 am from Rothenburg and got to town at 5:27 pm with an hour to get ok lunch in Munich! On our train to Munich the door to our car stopped working... Had 5 service workers trying to figure ...
... to compete in the Tour de France! We were very proud of our climbing achievement sitting in a cafe at the top sharing an apple struddle while surrounded by all these proper cyclists. However fancy their gear none of them had managed it with a baby seat and wearing sandals. We awoke this morning to the sound of rain on Sven and looked out the window to see very low clouds and the mountain actually peeking out of the top. We weren't sure if we would be able to bike ride as we had planned but the rain soon stopped and the clouds gradually disappeared revealing more and more of the mountain. ... the other two were the traditional Hello Kitty and Princess shapes that the girls wanted to get! Now when we open our cupboard bags of pasta tumble out so we are well stocked. All this walking made us think that we deserved an ice cream so we went and got one. It was a nice lazy walk in Levico Terme which was a town that had a very nice feel, it was good to see a town that wasn't a major tourist area to get a feel of what 'real' Italy is ...
