It was around a 20 minute walk away which gave us a good opportunity to gain a good feel of the city. I knew instantly that we had entered Georgetown. ... visited a little of the war exhibit and we ventured briefly into the Culture and Food one (Craig only did because my eyes almost popped out of my head at the thought of seeing Julia Child’s kitchen) and we also saw the Pop culture exhibit so I could get a picture with Dorothy’s original Ruby Slippers. ... and thrown into a frying pan. Played cards with some of the aunts and uncles, good Jesus! They were really competitive, I got battered, the game was just to fast and complex, it was like a super fast solitaire game. Ridiculous, as soon as I started getting stressed out with it I just stopped playing.

After the tour it was off to the National Air and Space Museum. As with all the Smithsonian museums entry was free and considering the type and number of exhibits it is absolutely amazing; to be honest I visited three Smithsonian museums today. Each one was free to enter and I would have gladly paid to enter each and every one. The museum covers a wide period and has exhibits covering intial flight (Wright brother first plane), ...
