      ... a bit grittier – surprise!!. It was not what she expected. So many people eat this in the south everyday. We noticed a woman in the restaurant when leaving who had a couple of biscuits with grape jelly and a large plate of grits with big pads of butter and salt and pepper generously applied. She looked very content.

      I told them that the rain had been pouring through the air-conditioner when it had rained last week. They were able to do an inspection and informed us they could probably fix it with spot sealing and that they would be able to do it for us straight away. They said that some bad weather was coming and it would save us a lot of heartache if they did it.

      ... Beach has been able to retain the charm of a small town florida coast. The state park is not very large and the camp ground is about half mile from the beach and half mile from the road, so it is very quiet. The spaces are spread apart so you have privacy amidst the slash pines and brush. Clean bathroom facility and easy walk to the beach or drive either one.

      Another sunny day but the wind is still a little cool. After a light breakfast we went to play golf at St Joseph's Bay Golf Club. Played better today but Mick came in under par swear he had God on his side - seven pars in his round I was happy with one! Back into Port St Joe, Beachcomber Grill for lunch.
