Well I thought we had finally left the cold behind we had a great night in Tamworth, in the morning it was about 10 degrees, quite comfortable, the first day I didn't need to put on a jumper or jacket.

As we went further north up the Black Stump highway and the New England Highway, the weather changed. By the time we hit Gyrah the temperature had dropped to 5 degrees!! and was overcast and snow clouds abounded! I think when the temperature finally ...

Have made it as far as the Gold Coast on my trip! Almost missed flight at Sydney after going to wrong gate. You'd think as an experienced traveller I'd know better. Have come a long way already - up the Federal Hwy and overnighting at Central before a very early start. Lovely sunny day on the Gold Coast - always swore I'd never come here again, but looking down as we were flying in, it does look beautiful, especially the hinterland. Explaining how Go Card works, what buses go where etc. Finally at 910am the bus arrives to take us to the rail station. The ...

    ... missed!

Got back to Komune to find a massive party going on in the bar with tv crews, sound men and a cat walk on the pool :s

Turns out a fashion designer was launching her range of Bondi beach swim wear. Now I had no idea what this Bondi beach thing was but it's a tv show that films people drowning and the lifeguards that save them. A bit like a wet version of the show 999 emergency.

    There were ...

... do some work on this blog and head out later to have lunch, gas up the car ready for tomorrow and then head out to Fingal Heads Lighthouse to see the 'Giants Causeway'.
When we got there the wind was still howling and Syl was sure she was going to be blown off the cliffs into the sea, so Rudi walked down to look over the edge at the rock formations that form the 'Giants Causeway'. Nature is incredible in how it forms the earth and Rudi ...
