... together and a lemon and lime bitters (the drink of the holiday) apart from Anthony who stuck with his Sunkist. We then took a walk along Eagle Pier Boardwalk again to see the atmosphere and view at night and it was much busier and just as impressive at night standing looking over the river towards the bridge with the tall skyscrapers behind you. Jill and Anthony showered in our room as their flight was at 2am and me and Charlie had the room for 1 more night. A taxi pulled up at about ...

... to become unstable on the highway. As mentioned in the last post, this took the drawbar weight from 190kg to 270kg. This is also with an empty van. Once loaded I would have been very close or over my vehicles max tow ball weight of 300kg. Although it is not a legal requirement, the vin plate has 153kg stamped on it (it weighed this with absolutely nothing in it at the factory). I have a target weight of approximately ...

... was cool. The walk was very tiring and now my legs are like jelly. The hostel is nice but quite noisy. There is a piano and everyone seems to have musical talent as it is played throughout the day! We finished the night having Caesar salad for dinner, and chilli heat wave Doritos for pudding. Tomorrow we are off to surfers paradise aka Miami of Australia. We don't want to leave Byron just yet but off we go ...
