There was some real talent on show and a couple of guys were putting incredible turns in, swivelling on the spot as if the board were attached to their feet. Taking the bikes back round to the busy beach, Ben went in again to try his hand at body surfing. The morning after we were back on the road heading toward Rainbow beach, but on the way we stopped in a national park for a small walk to a beautiful fresh water creek, I had to jump in of course and it was awesome to swim in fresh water!

My surf was booked in for 11am so a nice easy morning. The surfing wasn't so easy though. I managed to stand up a few times and by the end was catching my own waves and not needing a push ...
