      ... very well maintained and there were many signs placed strategically which made finding our way very nice.

      The hotel we stayed at was NICE!!! We stayed in the Orange Colom Seaside Apartments. We had a nice apartment with a long balcony overlooking the ocean. What a beautiful view from our apartment! We could see the famous lighthouse that is still in use.

      ... fishy" about the place (pun completely intended!) and I was right - the water was full of all sorts of creatures, big fish, little fish (no cardboard boxes!), crabs, snails of all sorts of colours, eels and jelly fish... In fact, in true John form, he managed to get stung on the ear - which was quite painful for a bit but seemingly fine after a pint! We stopped for another swim in the sea on the way back and it was amazing how clear the water was. ...

      Last day at school... And thankfully Javier made it quite fun! We practised telephone conversations and played Taboo in Spanish which I think was a very useful way of practicing what we had learnt - and was good fun (no Lucking cheating tactics allowed!). At the end of the lesson, I was handed my certificate -140 hours of lessons! My progress is apparently just higher than a GCSE in Spanish - so nowhere near fluent, but not bad for 7 ...

      ... day as a lot of seaweed had blown in and made the water look a bit black! It was still good for swimming and the waves made it fun. We didn't explore too far from where we parked the car... Which might not have been such a bad idea, as apparently various parts of the beach are for different "customers"... We were in a quite normal section although did get a few shocks when not concentrating or focussing properly! In the evening, we met with Lisa ...
