... the clouds to my back and behold an old promise of the Lord, a magnificent rainbow arching over a landscape rugged yet graceful, cold, hard, but stunningly beautiful. I was enthralled. What a reward for trudging the long winding miles of unfavorable weather while leaving Yosemite over snowy Donohue's Pass into Ansel Adams Wilderness.
