... as far as Treasure Island. The worst part of the strip is the part that we walked. The casinos were on the lower end. The crowd was a lot of families. Even on this end of the strip, things were more expensive than I remembered. Meals were typically around $20 and it was too late at night for a big meal, so we actually stopped by a 7/11 and got some microwave stuff and ate that. It was quite what people come to Vegas for, but whatever.

... and romantic event but we were mistaken! It was bloody packed out! There were people with grown up cameras, the type you need a tripod for, taking up all the space next to the waterfall. It was still nice though and we got a chance to see the night rainbow. It's nothing like a rainbow at all, it's just a shadow from the moon, but it was still great to see. AK & SJ are not quite at the professional photographer stage yet but they were giving it a go ...

... enjoyed a great lunch there, where the surprise guest of the day was Cathy Frost. We then walked the dogs at a large open space with gorgeous views. Back at the condo we enjoyed a wine walk through the colorful, flower-blanketed meadow and spied a darling doe watching us. The retail store and outlets were visited next. We enjoyed celebrating
Carol's birthday at the condo with dinner at home.
