... all of this without a horse and on foot. It's not as hot as DV but still hot for a 2-hour hike (wished we did have a horse or Sarah was stronger)! ... We took turns driving the boat and fishing (the fishing was unsuccessful, we caught nothing!). Then, we headed back to the RV park, and I helped my mom with laundry and we got more groceries. ... a long windy trip round the mountains we found ourselves almost back to Carmel lol, but we found the beach road and in the process saw a lot of very unique countryside which we wouldn't normally have seen, so there was a plus side. That probably added about 2 hours to the trip, but worth it as the coast road was unbelievably beautiful, though in places the road had me a bit worried, very narrow and windy in places. Stopped ...

... the edge of the mountains. The view continue to amaze us and we lose time stopping to take pictures. Before long it is getting dark and we get to the beautiful Yosemite lake, Taneya, right at dusk, too dark to see well, but I get a quick picture anyway.
