Day 12 - The Big Apple 1st day
Today was basically a moving day. We checked out of our hotel in Vegas & caught a flight to JFK airport in New York. It was around a 6 hour flight, and with the 3 hour time difference we arrived at our hotel at around 8.00pm. The hotel is ideally situated as it is central to Times Square, 5th Avenue & Broadway.

We awoke this morning to more blue skies but this time a bit cooler than what we have been used to in Vegas. After a quick breakfast at a great cheap place next door to us, we wandered up to 6th Ave where there was the biggest & longest street market we had ever seen. Day 14 - The Big Apple 3rd day
This morning started off with Hel, Jase & Laura going to Mass at St Patrick's Cathedral, the biggest catholic church in the US. The Archbishop led the Mass, assisted by 4 other priests - just a bit different to St Bridget's, Mordialloc. Bags were searched on the way in (Hel had left her revolver with me), and there were numerous men in black …
Day 15 - The Big Apple 4th day
This morning we awoke to pretty much clear skies (again), but the weather was a few degrees cooler than previous days. Our first activity for today was to go on the Staten Island Ferry via the NY Subway.
