      It was interesting to see the current state of Christchurch after the quakes and I think Christchurch need tourists to boost its economy.

      ... gab es sogar zwei Kinofilme. Wir entschieden uns für Boxtrolls (verrückter Film, aber ganz niedlich). Natürlich durfte Popcorn nicht fehlen, aber warum ist denn das gesalzen, selbst wenn es nicht drauf steht?! Sogar das Karamel-Popcorn ist gesalzen! Das macht doch nun wirklich keinen Sinn! Wesentlich besser schmeckte der Käse, den man an einem kleinen Stand probieren durfte – der Wasabikäse ist sehr zu empfehlen.

      ... multicultural area with a
      fab market; market stall men in competition to sell their goods shouted out, "strawberries
      for a $1" “two spinach a dollar” repeatedly, very loud in your ears but
      creating a real bustling market atmosphere. We could still here the shouting
      ringing in our ears long after we had left the market!! We had
      borrowed Danielle's shopping trolley so looked like locals!!! and got some
      lovely fruit and veg.

      ... locked, turned around and charged back to the central area to get HELP. Saw a policeman with a gun and ran up to him wildly gesturing .He totally ignored me and walked to the escalator and disappeared.

      ... Photo. (Just makes me grin looking at it.) For those new to the Blog..... There is a seat in Cardiff, Wales ... where Captain Jack of the TV show 'Torchwood'.... sat. That was my Mecca.
