      Another day, another city! The ship was dockside in Napier at 7.00 am with Shuttle Buses ready to ferry the passengers into town. Napier was decimated by an Earthquake in 1931 and was rebuilt with an Art Deco theme which has been continued on to this day.       Arrived once again to sunshine, this is getting to be a habit !
      It was the final day of the Art Deco weekend so lots of old cars and people in 1930's outfits, good fun and Pete was in his element, sorry we weren't here for the whole thing. Managed to do lots of walking and lots more eating ( so all is right with the world Laurence !)

      ... they became unlatched they will pop up. Me not having the longest of legs attempted to climb over the gate but I couldn't reach the floor so had to push down on the gate, which had a broken latch that wasn't very secure, so the gate became unlatched, and not being very heavy I started going up with the gate!!       ... almost out of luck! All the ferries were booked solid for the next month and a half, except for the Sunday morning 2:30 AM boat.
