Last couple of days in Oz
... which I hope are interesting and went on our way. Our second stop was Chinatown where the Haymarket was which sold a variety of different rubbishy bits we didn't need and was basically like the markets in China. There was tourist tat, fake merchandise and stalls just selling bits and bobs but there was a good fresh food market area which gave us a couple of bananas for the day before we set of towards the quay. We made for the Rocks area which is the old convict/fishing ...
Touchdown!
... fit for a king, the bottle of champers and a couple of local beers, I was ready for bed. I was officially in a food coma! We took a chilled drive back to Chez Garves, and dipped our toes in the pool for a while until the golfers returned. When they did, we cracked a few beers, put MTV on and started to get ready for the evening. It was to be a pretty chilled night, a bit of tucker, a tinny or two and bed. From Wallabies to Molière
... it was very odd indeed! However, we enjoyed the whole experience - Circular Quay is such a busy spot with ferries continually to-ing and fro-ing and massive cruise liners leaving and arriving - the atmosphere before and after theatre-time is simply electric.
We have just five days left of our Australian adventure before moving on to New Zealand. I just can’t believe it; we have done and seen so much. It has been truly wonderful. We hope to ...
