... sunglasses become "sunnies", lip gloss = "lippy", sandals = "thongs", aluminum can = "tinnies... you get the point. They are funnier than the Kiwis. While not a joke telling bunch, they enjoy joking around. Lots of sarcasm, lots of ribbing each other. They are well dressed. Fancy mall stores, tailored clothing, suits and ties everywhere. ... We got a taxi right outside and got to Erin's ok. It was so good to so her! Really mad as it didn't feel weird to be at her door in Australia having not seen her in over a year lol We got a tour of the house and showed to our room which was all lovely and homely and a good size. Alex got up and came out and we just cheated for about 2 hours before FaceTimeing Nics and going to bed. We were shattered and both went out like lights. Ahhh we were home (well home away from home) Night K+C ...

... the ferry information booth, we were asked if we’d been to Barangaroo, a 22 hectare park recently opened on the western edge of Sydney Harbour. He gave us instructions on how to get there, and off we went in that direction. To get there, we had to walk along the Rocks, under the freeway to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and through the urban suburb of Miller’s Point. Barangaroo is another example of how Sydney utilizes the waterfront to ...
