... off down the road to South West Rocks. Stunning beach and pretty small town, perfect place to go if you had small children as the beach is very safe and the campsite is virtually on the sands. There are a number of old buildings they are restoring which is lovely. We sat looking over the beach, with our ice lollies and were in heaven. ... Around Australia Championship, as Ian has won 1 state, I have won 3, with only QLD to go!!!

After the game, we had lunch at the club, and got away about 2.30pm, to head west on the Oxley Highway towards Walcha. We stopped about halfway across the range, at a free camp at Stockyard Creek Rest Area,, about 83km SE of Walcha.

... these people with houses gone and everything in it is horrifying. They have arrested two girls aged 12 and 13 for setting the fires off in the first place. We did see smoke in the distance and at one time we encountered yellow smoke over on the other side of the carriageway with a fire engine in attendance and all the traffic stopped. We were OK though. ... along Mat looks over and then slows down, turns the radio down, pulls over OMG! "What's the noise?" We both looked at each other thought the car was f****ed �� but no it was the bloody forest bugs or something!!!!! Scary!!!! 4 hours and we could see the sea!!!!!
