... the best value €2 of our lives and had a trip around the markets in the little train, drinking our cider and pulling toot toot signals and waving at the locals- god it was a great ten minutes!!

After the markets, we went to a really cute little pub and had cordon bleus and elderflower beer and then sadly it was time to return to London... 2kgs heavier.

It was almost 14:00 hrs by the time we walked to the centre. It was a beautiful day so we had a late lunch and then proceeded to walk to some of the places that we had not been to before, like the stables and the Palm Garden at Hofman.

... a flood of red flares let off in one section of the stand that made it look like it was on fire. Plus smoke flares were let off (I guess flares are not included as prohibited items). The home team really didn't play well but the home team supporters were entertaining. One difference with the spectators was the amount of people smoking. Amazing. ... standing room area was hot and claustrophobic, we were crammed in tight rows like sardines, and it was difficult to see the stage clearly. It was only 4 Euros ($6.00) each, though. We lasted until intermission then (apologies) we left in search of dinner at the Caffe Englander, where the menu is in German, and the waiters translates for you.
