Woke to a beautiful Sunday morning. This is a wonderful way to appreciate nature. We both slept well even with a thunder storm. Our hostess (Twila) prepared breakfast. Several courses-egg casserole, sausage, fruit, fresh baked muffins, juice, coffee and my personal favorite whole milk. Twila even gave us the remained muffins "for the road." ... preoccupied with staying on the trail I couldn’t really look around at the scenery. It took a lot of muscling around to keep it going where I wanted to go. Anyway, we stayed out about 2.5 hours--frankly I was just glad to get back in one piece. I’m glad I tried it, but think I’ll stick with skiing and riding!
