... at a wee town called Marybel for fuel and lunch in a typical diner - cheap meals and big quantities.
We had a lovely 2 bedroom apartment with a sofa bed for the 5 of us to share in Steamboat Springs - what a lovely town and obviously the ski-ing mecca for the area.

... gorgeous gardens and plenty of little waterfalls and the price has not changed. It is still only $10 a person. What a great value.
We soaked for a while. Ate a picnic lunch under the trees with the chipmunks. Soaked again. Lounged in the sun and allowed the lithium hot spring water do it's trick. We were all so relaxed that the short walk up the hill back to the car felt like climbing a fourteener.

My trip home was uneventful (thankfully) although I do have to mention a few small humorous things. The van driver was a talkative chap named Marty, but he was very nice. One of the ladies that got on the shuttle said her name was Orange Marie...interesting, plus the fact that she had so much perfume on it ...
... t visited downtown in their first 4 days here, not that there is a lot to see, its just a small country town, everything is on Main Street I'm sure.
