... bus came and Ann was at the front of the queue and thought she could still make the bus, but she didn't and we had to wait another 15 minutes for the next one. How serendipitous this would turnout to be as the bus we were on was stopped by a park ranger to allow a mother bear and he cubs to cross the road. ... a little warmer and the water looked tempting, until you walked in. At knee height your shin bone froze and you lost all sensation in your feet.
