      ... We spent quite a bit of time trying to locate a crocodile farm in Innisfail to take Patrick too only to work out eventually it had closed down sometime between our Lonely Planet guide being printed and our trip.

      We made it to the Mamu Rainforest Canopy just in time for a late lunch but that is another entry (we are now in the Atherton Tablelands).

      ... was a place we should have visited earlier as it has a few good walks and is on the beach so was a fair bit cooler.
      After dinner (best Thai ever) we heard the Bush-stone Curlews wailing and went out looking for them. We actually found them walking around the caravan Park. As we also heard some barking owls we went searching for them as well. We found them in a tree over the road from the caravan Park. Michelle actually filmed them eating another ...

      ... French family here - Olivier, Joss and their 3 children - they are holidaying in Australia for 3 months before heading to South Africa for another 9 months. The boys built a good relationship with their kids and are starting to speak serious French. That’s very exciting.

      We are now in the Townsville region making our way slowly south as the temperatures begin to rise along with the humidity in the air.

      ... mooie wandeling bij laag tijde en zagen een mooie Fish and chips shop aan de andere kant van een creek. Eenmaal thuis hebben we de auto gepakt en zijn daar lunch gaan eten. Bij de bestelling werd al gemeld dat het een uur wachten was. ....het was de moeite waard.

      Morgen nog vroeger op om Duitsland te zien.........

      ... it had all the V8s, all the Dunlop series
      cars and Carrera cup cars. There were dragsters and a Blackhawk helicopter on
      display. We saw dads friend, his name is Dan Day, he races in the Dunlop
      We went to the V8s and saw Lowndsy and Whincup, and we
      watched qualifying but didn’t watch the racing. We talked to Dan Day who is
      number 25. We stayed there for the whole day and we sat on a cushion and I
