It was fun traveling through the countryside and through small villages where Caucasians were seldom seen.

Meanwhile, not too far away in the school room...... it has been rather rushed this week. I had to make sure that the kids had finished off their units of work and got everything ready to take to school on the way to Townsville on Friday. ... cook your own food in a communal kitchen is really weird, we need to stock up and buy a cool bag to maintain the ways of Australian Hostels. We went to the nearest shop by the beach and had a long chat with the owner about our lives in England, he was really sweet offering me a contact for billabong fashion as I explained the struggles of the fashion industry. There were three jars on his counter, one had a death adder snake in it that killed a neighbours dog, ...

A travel blog entry by codie on Nov 18, 2014

Had to stay another day in Townsville as we'd not booked the package to Magnetic In time.

Walked to the ferry terminal so that we could book the package for tomorrow.
It was boiling walking in and shade was a luxury.
Had to wait for the woman to get back from lunch, but managed to book the package for tomorrow which was good. Get a car on the 20th too.

After enjoying the aircon of the ferry terminal we started walking back along ...
