      ... alive - an evening at the 3rd annual Bollinger family Thanksgiving. The only thing missing was our Minnesota and Ohio families. I wish we could have been in all three states that day!

      We decided to skip Capital Reef National Park/Bryce Canyon and detour to Colorado. It was amazing coming across the state line and watching the terrain change back into a colorful mountain region. We rolled into the town of Cortez just in time for Happy Hour, then headed up into Mesa Verde National Park where we set up camp for the night. We found a great little site that required all food to be put in your car for the night due to bears.
