Yesterday we packed up and left Granada to drive to Malaga. We took a detour to a town at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, driving through Lanjaron and Orgiva to get to Pampaneira. 8th July - Ronda. They put on a wonderful breakfast at the hotel with some very interesting food that we are not used to seeing at breakfast including black pudding and fritatas.

I have noticed in Spain the local women dress very well and no one wears black. Their sun dresses are colourful and pretty with lovely sandals and they are generally slim. There also seems to be a distinctive fashion - shoes all have T bars ...

... This trip has lead us to so many new travel resources.

Today we are heading back to Madrid and tomorrow the family flies back to the USA. Tom and I head to France by train and then on to England to visit friends.

Only two weeks remain in the travel part of this adventure. We are already planning how to document our pictures and memorabilia.
