... chair shop on the way so spent quite a bit of time there before a rather indifferent but alternative lunch with a German twist. I imagine it caters for the hoards of Dutch and German occupants of the surrounding flats and camps. Quite glad to leave as far too near ...
... entertainment" afterwards. We've met a marvelous singer, Sarah Jane Morris who performed for us along with another guest Annette Brown who is a musician, she plays the trumpet. They did several songs, very nice. And Lars was convinced to do his special version of the Swedish Chef. Annette even made a chef's hat for him. It was a fun evening.

I emailed the Truma company in Germany and explained my situation and got a lovely response saying there should be no reason why I couldn't get it fixed fast and they would get back to me after the week end, so now I am waiting to see what will happen. In the mean time I am making friends with my neighbours and doing quite a lot of talking and drinking with them, so life isn't all bad.
There are lots of English retirees here which means that there are lots of clubs for my grandparents to join and English restaurants and bars for around so we have had traditional English food here as well as Spanish food. Its a very nice place with perfect sunny weather but its very quiet in winter and there are lots of things closed. Tomorrow morning we have to leave for London, it doesn't seem like we have been here long enough to already be leaving again!
