After we had left the caravan we drove to Altea to stay with Michel and Nacir who had invited us . When we arrived Michel was already prepared to start cooking and the huge Gamba's were ready to be put with the fish on the grill, miammmi ! Michel loves cooking and put all his pleasure and energy in preparing our lunch while chatting away with lots of Belgian humor and of course a fresh sangria and some wine ...
... day if I tether my iPad to it. I bought the card, activated the roaming plan, got it all set up - but Personal Hotspot is disabled so I can't connect my iPad to it at all. So it seems that neither the Vodafone Italy SIM, nor the Orange Spain SIM will let me connect my iPad through my phone for a reasonable cost. It's not the end of the world, but having my iPad online makes things like this blog a lot easier once I'm on the road without easy access to WiFi. Oh ...
... the boat chicaned into it. We dropped anchor inside the cave, and this was our first snorkelling spot. There were no fish that I could see, but the shape of the rocks from the erosion was really interesting. I found that on one side of the cave, there was a smaller sub-cave - perhaps two arm lengths wide - but who knows how deep because it was dark, really dark. This morning, I made a dogs breakfast out of my breakfast. Specifically I started fried eggs before realising that I didn't have a spatula, and removing egg from a non-non-stick pan (that is, a normal pan) is near impossible. I bailed on the fried eggs entirely and went for scrambled eggs and cheese, which worked out much better. John A's friend Diane picked me up at 11am and took me to the workshop where the bike had been fixed up - it needed a new fuel pump. With ...
