... going to go down the path one way, but we couldn't because there was a goat on the path. We saw goat families in the snow. We saw goats hopping and skipping along the rugged paths of stone. It was very fun to see the goats all around, since they didn't cause any problems.

We stopped at a cute town called Bozeman in Montana for burgers and more bookshops before arriving at that nights campground – all in all a good day!

We did get off the road a few times for short hikes. One was on the Trail of the Cedars where there are lots of old, tall cedars along a very picturesque river. This is a short hike through the woods over wooden boardwalks and bridges. Another hike was along the Sunrift Gorge where a strong glacial river was flowing. Both really relaxing and nice ...

... calf and what appeared to be her yearling. They happened to be going the same way as us and clearly weren’t in nearly the hurry we were. Not feeling comfortable trying to pass them on the narrow, cliff lined trail - both because it felt rude and dangerous - we allowed nature to give us a natural cool down to our exercise as we hiked with them for the last 20 minutes or so of our route.
