... snagging one of the last campsites at 2:30 on Thursday afternoon, much to our surprise! Once again, amazing weather greeted us on Friday morning, and we embarked on our longest day hike yet to Grinnell Glacier. 12 miles round trip, but it flew by as we were awed once again by the amazing views all the way up.

We were also thrilled to celebrate Susie and Patty's wedding day up in the mountains! Though sad ...

... Soap Lake the Grand Coulee Canyon flattened out and then disappeared all together (I suppose being ground zero for the biggest flood in the history of mankind might do that...). The surrounding remained pretty much featureless until the Idaho border, as I cruised along the I90. You then hit pine forests which continue into western Montana. ... for the hotel… didn't find it… then drove back up the street just PAST THE RV PARK to our "closer-to-town-hotel". It was literally across the driveway (headed out of town).

We partied in our close hotel room then danced the night away in Whitefish. The next morning A+M headed back to flooded calgary and team LA started off for Waterton Lakes National Park.
