... people with an umbrella and looked a little silly. We had a quick flight to San Diego, checked into our boutique hotel ( aka compact) and went for a stroll around the city. Nigel quickly spotted all the air craft carriers docked up and one was even moving which caused great excitement ( not many other people seemed too bothered) as it very slowly docked you could see all the planes on the back ...

Jack neglected to mention that we arrived in San Diego about 2 am in the morning. It was nearly 4 am, when we landed in bed. Now we are finally rested up. I have delighted in seeing the historic Los Angeles Union Train Station, the San Diego Santa Fe train station, and this 1927 Army Navy YMCA (now 500 West Hotel).
