... and the temp dropped dramatically as we headed for the coast from the 105 in Yuma to a very pleasant 70. The mountains just before we hit San Diego looked like gigantic boulder size gravel hills – very strange. ... an 18 hole executive course with two par fours on each nine and the rest par threes. The course is in excellent shape and the greens are fast and run true. The price is a little higher than Desert Hills in Yuma. The pace was leisurely and we had to wait on a couple of holes but no one cared. The highlight of the round was Dan knocking in a 20-foot birdie on the last – his first ever! That will make it a memorable day for sure.
