... Then took the Old Town Trolley tour on a loop starting from Balboa Park. Was fun! Some of my favourite bits were little Italy, old town, the waterfront (big military ships and museum), Gas Lamp district, and the AMAZING Coronado. Next time, each of those places is getting some proper time and attention. Sadly heading back to LA today (on Pacific Surfliner again so not all bad), but San Diego is on my list to come back ...
