... Highway, LA bound once again. Less exciting was getting stuck in the infamous LA traffic for a couple of hours, but by the evening all was forgotten as we made it to the hotel and all caught up. Taking the car back in the evening was a sad affair, saying goodbye to the beast after nearly 4000 miles!

The four of us decided to get straight into the action and the following day was spent at Disneyland, which was incredible! The day was jam packed, with the first ride ...

I know they are at the forefront of conservation, but I find as I'm getting ...

... that I was going to get really wet once again. In the video you can hear me scream and then laugh. Oh that was so much fun. Katie and I wanted to go on it again side we were already wet, but Charlie was like no so we walked away. So the only person who had dry clothing was yup you guess it Charlie, at least I had a dry shirt but still was wet. After having a look in a shop to see if we could buy a pair of shorts we found nothing so we jumped into one of those family ...

... to get out to where you’re ‘supposed’ to be twice. The waves were huge and constant, so you needed fitness levels ten times beyond mine to regularly paddle out to where they break. It was all worth it though when I caught probably the biggest wave of my life near the end of the day and rode it all the way to the shore. I’m pretty sure I walked straight off the beach after this, hoping that onlookers only saw my last 30 ...
