Main impression of Germany on the flight in and reinforced on the train trip was the amount a forests throughout the country, the closeness of the towns to one another and crazy speeds that they drive on the autobahns.

I took an awful night bus from Berlin to Brussels. The seat was broken and thus didn't recline, so the whole time I was sitting up straight while the guy in front of me reclined all the way. This left me with effectively no leg room. The only thing that made the night bearable were the super nice french girls who kept me fed and gave me some of their whiskey.

When I finally arrived I was exhausted and didn't feel like taking a train or anything to the airport so ...

We meandered around for hours, (if he wasn't with us it would have made it longer, so we gained lots in a short time frame).

Actually lots to see from what we gathered…..interesting.



Yann popped us on the train to Amsterdam… (shortish train ride, pleasant enough trip).
