We went to Prague castle today but the weather didn't seem very good. Getting to Prague Castle is pretty straightforward. The metro station stop is Malostranska, exit the metro station and turn left up the street. There will be street direction post after that that leads you to the stairs to walk up to the entrance. Entrance to the surrounding is free and depending on where you wish to visit, there are different tickets available. ...

... the gate the historic centre is completely pedestrianised but you can see why people go ape-**** over it because it is all very pretty with cobbled streets and towers. ... Janet you would have loved it! We travelled upstream through a lock. They crowded about eight boats in at once and we able to listen to the entertainment on some of the others during the thirty minutes it took for the water to rise so we could navigate further up the river.
