Day 65 - Sun 1st. Feb.6 o'clock wake up call to get the boat in the water by 7 to go fishing in the bay. A beautiful time of the day, cool (23 degrees) and not so humid. With very little luck in getting fish to take the hook we moved around the bay as the heat increased to mid/high 30s. Fishing was a disappointment, one small shark (12 to 18 inches) hooked by Sharon and Andy's daughter which broke the line ...

They also have a pillowy bum, so they can basically chill on top the eucalyptus tree ...

... road again this time heading for Brisbane. Not before getting a parking ticket for parking the wrong way around in a car parking space (against the flow of traffic) what a ******* rule that's $45 down the *******! We found are way into Brisbane first time due to Lucy's superior map reading skills and straight to the hotel. Which just so happened to be the tallest building in the whole city 74 floors, we only made it to the 12th ...

We spent this morning wondering around Brisbane and headed to the Roma Street Parkland. It was free to walk around so we took the guided walk around the grounds admiring all the flowers and streams. We came across families of lizards and almost stepped on a few they were so camouflaged! It was all going so well until I noticed a gigantic spider hanging in its web just where we planned on walking. It was multicoloured ...
