    ... for today was for rain and then hail, thunder showers throughout the afternoon. The rain bit was accurate, but generally we had a fine, sunny day with heavy clouds over the Green Mountains.     ... covered caramel chunks - YUMMY!! We also visiting the Flavor Graveyard before continuing our journey. After leaving the factory, we really started seeing some wonderful colors. Being in the mountains and the lack of moisture recently made the colors so vivid. Perfect timing for the best color. You will see in some of the photos that we really couldn't have timed it any better. Our final destination was Albany, NY. ...

    Today we visited the Vermont ski museum. I learned about two main things: Perry Merril, known as "The Man Who Put Vermont on Skis", and the 10th Mountain division, a ski unit in World War II.
