Had a mixed day at Loveland. Lindsay and I drove to Loveland early and got on the slopes by 10:30 or so. Kirk, Chris and Vienne didn't get there until noon.

I wanted to return to the mornings of jumping out of bed ...

... of exposure and no soil, just rocks as terra-firma . Couple of mountain goats, natural mountaineers, showed up at the same time as if to show us how to balance and climb on those rocks. Much appreciated, but we as humans don’t have
hoofed legs or the innate sense of balance that they have.

... biscuits, sweets and cheese. The demographic was pretty much unanimous- all under 30 year old poor, ski bunnies. We will defiantly be going again!

Today Matt is at work and it's my day off. I'm about to take a bus to the next town to do some much needed shopping for thermals and ...
