Didn't have anything on the agenda today, so we slept in. Nice!!! We had breakfast in the hotel and then Sandra and the guys went for a walk about town. I decided I needed a good long rest so I opted not to go and stayed at the hotel. I read my book by the rooftop pool, and had lunch in the hotel too.

My trip is nearly over. We started our trip home Thursday with a German breakfast and a teary goodbye to Lisa at the apartment and an even more teary goodbye to Shane at the airport. We flew British Airways from Berlin to London Heathrow, and now Qantas from London-Dubai-Sydney-Brisbane. I am now writing this somewhere over the Arabian Sea with some 11 hours of this flight leg to go - Dubai to Sydney. All has gone well, the 7 hour flight from London ...

... he opera house. the day was beautiful and warm and we decided to spend the day in the vast gardens soaking up the sun and taking photos of kakadu parrots. Lenka was running around like a little kid after these huge parrots often forgetting to use the camera :) i had a short nap at a small pond while Lenka took some pics of the ibis birds. it was short only because i was woken up because i was snoring to loud :)
