There was no way I was walking back so I hailed taxi and was shocked how far I walked. The hotel was good to see....as I was very knacked and very tanked. Wobbled to me room.....and did a face plant on the bed. It was my last day in aussie land...and it was a good one to end a pretty dang cool adventure on. Tomorrow....the big flight home....

For a small park, the place had plenty to turn even a nearly 10-year old's stomach to jello. Alyssa and Sumi rode every ride, determined not to miss anything even though they were becoming progressively more green and inching toward heat ...

... 2015….year of the sheep.

Just a note of the expense of living in Sydney. One thing I enjoy doing in parts of the world is going through supermarkets. My discovery: Potato chips $5, a Hass Avocado was $3.50. Cherries, $16.99 a kilo, a small basket of blueberries $5.99 (usually 2 for $5 in the USA). The chickens we buy at Costco, $4.99? $11.99 here. And they say San Diego is expensive. This is also a very young city, I hardly saw anyone over 30 years ...
