We get there and it was not busy at all, but we weren't bothered, out came the blankets and we set up camp for tge day, great views, Harbour bridge to our left, and Sydney opera house to our right...Perfect! Well thats what we thought until about 4pm when the clouds came out! We were not prepared for this weather, freezing is wn uunderstatement! People around us were going off to buy hoodies, but us being on a budget stuck it out! We huddled ...

... beach and had a swim to cool off. The undercurrent was strong and we felt sorry for the life guards having to try keep an eye on the thousands of sun bathers. We made our way back to the city on a crowded bus and found an excellent restaurant for steak and chips.

... to New Zealand. We meet them at the train station and it's SO good to see familiar faces! We jump on a bus and head to the beach to our favourite breakfast cafe Le Paris Go. The cafe is packed with people and there's no outside seating, however we head inside and there's a table for 4 right in front of us - result! We all order cooked breakfasts with juices instead of the usual teas or coffees as it's so damn hot.
