      ... no not really … well what’s the bloody point of going here if we’re not stopping? So after taking a photo of a lovely old church with an unusual spire, we pulled into Maccas for a toilet stop and a FW … we got out of the car and he was worried about his camera case - he had his camera around his neck. I said he should leave it open so any potential thieves would see there was nothing in it and nothing to steal.

      ... up camper or the Coaster.

      This weeks excursion took us back through Peak Crossing, thence to Church Crossing Reservoir, what a lovely run. Stopped for a photo there.

      Thence out to Rosewood to dine on a lovely picnic lunch. Allan, as per usual, produced an excellent barista coffee. Sharon made chic pea rissoles - cooked on our little stove and we had a lovely salad. Sharon ...

      ... that it would be too much for them but they welcomed us into their home nevertheless. We thank them both so much for those wonderful al fresco breakfasts on the terrace, the delicious meals they both cooked for us and their warm and genuine hospitality. Thanks too for taking us to The Waterfall, Tambourine, OReilly's Plateau in Lamington National Park and giving us a taste of camping Aussie style.       27 th nov Went to shops to buy wine and flowers to thank Paul and Carole for all the kindness that they have shown us, they really are a lovely couple. We have had a great time in surfers and definitely got to see a different side to it than normal backpackers do, no drunken teenagers for us! Paul very kindly drove us to Coolangatta, our next stop.
