... getting me to walk on the sand barefoot was revenge enough. After a dinner of pasta and tuna back at the hostel the guys who worked there organised a trip down to the local Irish pub down the road with some of the residents. We got to know a few of them and chatted to Danny and Colin for while and found them to be endlessly amusing. After a few beers we headed back to the hostel for an episode or two of Suits and a night of rest.

I carried on the trek following the path across Nobby's Beach, at Flynn's Beach I treated myself to an ice cream before carrying on past Rocky Beach, Windmill Hill Lookout, Oxley Beach and Flagstaff Hill finally arriving at Town Beach. ... buildings in town without going in. The maritime museum had no boats! Much more energetic day today - gym session, coffee at the poky bookstore around the corner, walked along the coast path to Shelly Beach and then visited the rainforest boardwalk. Ben rolls his eyes at NSW's incessant use of the word tropical. Subtropical at best apparently. We caught the bus home as I was ready to flake and have been relaxing since. ... North Haven and other little villages. Travelling through Bonny Hills, we spotted this caravan park on the hill so decided to try it - what a good move....
We have a fantastic site right on the edge of the cliff overlooking the ocean - prime real estate!

... money for cruises and kayaking etc. I did however go to the Koala hospital which was SO GOOD. Koalas are the cutest things that have ever lived. The ones that were at the hospital were obviously a bit poorly but they were still adorable. They padded slowly around and gracefully leapt from branch to branch. ...
