Immerhin hatten …

Today we got up early, said goodbye to the mountain tree house, and the Big Island, and flew to Honolulu. The flight was amazingly short. I had barely read two chapters of the book I'm reading (the first 15 lives of Harry August) and we were already descending to land! After some initial effort to get into the centre, we found a taxi and arrived in the city. Thankfully we were able to check in early, and ...

... to shower with, herbal essence shampoo and conditioner, Dermalogica Cleansers, exfoliators and moisturisers, Nivea soap and of course Wella hair oil... The real necessities of travelling right? We felt slightly more human. Until we had to both try and make our top bed bunk beds with our, hopefully fresh, tumble-dried sheets. It was hard trying not make a noise as the room was now full and we were the last, annoyingly noisy people to go to sleep. The time difference was ...
