      Der Flug von Maui nach O’ahu verlief problemlos, nur die Kontrollen waren wieder etwas mühsam… Zuerst beschnupperte uns wieder einmal ein Drogenhund, danach musste dieses Mal Martin den Explosionstest bestehen und kaum im Hotel in Waikiki angekommen bemerkte er, dass sein Gepäck aufgemacht und durchforscht worden war!       ... hotel I'd stayed in for the first three days here, so I'm trekking across Waikiki to get them, which wouldn't be such a big deal if it wasn't boiling hot. I'm not actually sure what the temperature is at the moment, but... it's hot. Gonna try and keep to the shade as much as possible, and maybe try to find somewhere that isn't so costly to sit and write. I could probably sit in the common area of the hostel, but it's not so open... I like being able to people ...

      ... overridden by excitement!
      Claire (Livvys Mum) and Hazel (Claires Partner) were up and Claire was getting anxious waiting for Faye (Livvys Sis) and Paul (Fayes Partner) to arrive as we were all leaving for Hawaii together. The reason being that Faye and Paul are getting married and we are all going as a family for the wedding. This is why it doesn't feel quite real as it is more like a holiday.
