... Allie. At dinner we met a couple from Brisbane and had a nice visit. Then we watched the Captain pose for pictures with people and moved on to the show which was the same magician we saw on the first cruise.

Day 4: Kauai. Beautiful day today. We took a tour out to Waimea Canyon, sometimes called the Grand Canyon of Hawaii. There were five buses from the ship for this tour and most held 50+ people. We had ...

On this day, I opened up the purse strings a little bit and went on an organized tour on Holo Holo Charters. This came at the recommendation of my buddy Travis' finance, Jenny. It all faces west so it's also a prime spot to see the sunset. Looking out at the water, I was surprised to see that a couple of the  large rocks were moving in the water. Looking more closely, though, I realized they weren't rocks, they were turtles! Two of them, just playing in the water. Apparently there are quite a ...

... community being built overlooking the water and a golf course. We drove around and stopped by a model home which was not open. Of course that didn't stop us from walking around the outside and looking in the windows. It was called the Baby Beach Cottage and had 2 bed/2 bath in the main house and a 1/1 in a little guest cabin. The layout was great and they seemed to be well made. Of course how much? no idea, but we both decided ...
