... turn off and refreshments served, we were preparing for landing. Amazing view from the airplane. We now have a better appreciation of why they call this island the garden island, vegetation is thick and lush, bordered by steep rugged cliffs along the coastline. The opening waterfall scene of Jurassic Park was filmed here. A must see while visiting Kauai. First ...

Beautiful sunrise this morning. Katrina and I were out relatively early for a walk around to Poipu Beach Park. We've noticed it's really quiet in the mornings here, so we pretty much had the walk to ourselves. ... at the light house (he said we would have to walk from the stop) we decided to stay on the bus and go to the light house first, what the driver didn't tell us was how far we would have to walk, quite a few miles and that it was up a very steep busy road with no foot path, all this we didn't find out till we were off the bus. We went for a swim instead and looked at the light house from the water while waiting for the bus to take us back ...

... community being built overlooking the water and a golf course. We drove around and stopped by a model home which was not open. Of course that didn't stop us from walking around the outside and looking in the windows. It was called the Baby Beach Cottage and had 2 bed/2 bath in the main house and a 1/1 in a little guest cabin. The layout was great and they seemed to be well made. Of course how much? no idea, but we both decided ...
