    The condo had a beautiful oceanfront view to watch turtles, whales and sunsets right from the lanai.

    By the time we met back up with the main highway and headed east towards Poipu, it was after 5pm.     ... how they got downhill from here, and we surely wouldn't want to have to climb back up. It was hard enough as it was. It was almost 8 miles round trip for us, and took about 5 hours with a half hour for lunch. Except for a few sprinkles in the Swamp, we had perfect weather: some sun, some clouds, and no mosquitoes. We had earned our mai tais (and Advil) by the time we got back to Poipu.

    Well,we got up at 6am....the airport hotel Mariott at Montreal is excellent! Very comfortable and convenient..would highly recommend! We checked in at 7....we have to say that Montreal airport sucks...tried to get an English newspaper and a crossword book....no such luck...all French...and no nice restaurants or shops...more spare than Brisbane! On the trip to Vancouver by 8:30 arriving there at 2 our time but 11 am their time! We had a ...

    ... a swinging bridge too. This one was near the main street. So we parked and walked across this one too. It was in much better repair than the one in Waimea. The old down town is kind of run down with many places in need of repair. But there is a kind of renaissance going on with a lot of art galleries and other stores featuring a lot of local arts and crafts.     ... early in their stay to help plan activities for the week. Our tour advisor listed the must do's on the island, and the best eating places and beaches. They do go above and beyond. One thing Americans find difficult to understand is the concept of 'Long Service Leave' They question us over and over on how we can be paid to travel for ten weeks.
