... We did pretty well and saw the hyena feeding, the bears, and a bunch of lions and tigers. It was really good fun and the staff there make it so entertaining.

After the feeding we walked over to see the wolves and the bears once more. I love the wolves so much, they are gorgeous, and even though I’m absolutely a cat person I have a soft spot for the wolves that I can’t explain. Whilst we were watching them a child ran past and they all chased ...

    Red Neck Toilet Day

A travel blog entry by knightc on Nov 12, 2014

Our RV toilet has been leaking slightly for some time. Last year we paid a repairman to "fix" it but it has continued to leak off and on, lately to a greater extent. Today Bob decided to fix the problem once and for all. He TOTALLY disassembled the toilet and had to turn off our water for the duration of the repair.

We needed to wash the pieces of the toilet in a tap at the back of our site. I wish I had taken a picture of Bob sitting ...

Sorry haven't posted in awhile. Haven't really had the best service. It's surprisingly difficult to post on here and I'm finding that I don't have too much time to do so, so these will be pretty short entries. Hiked Cathedral Rock. Drive in was beautiful, probably will come back here for vacation in the winter! Would love to hike another trail there. Very unique rock formations. ...

7th day - Butterfly Wonderland & other fun things

A travel blog entry by edwardsfamtrips on Mar 28, 2014

... our hands stamped & picking up our 3D glasses, we went into a movie theater to watch a 25 min movie about the monarch butterfly & the journey it takes. It was a very good movie though I got dizzy at one point with of a genius idea to spin the camera during the movie. Missy seemed to enjoy the movie & kept her glasses on the entire time. Mr had a harder time with the glasses since he has a smaller head. Eventually I just had a to help ...

... back down the mountain, on the way to Anthem to meet up with Ilene, Ken, and my favorite new best friend, Helen (Ilene's sister). They are staying in a huge home in Anthem, so plenty of room for hangers-on. They fixed a wonderful meal, steak and fish. We are playing golf on Thursday in Scottsdale. Phoenix Open is on this week. Might be fun to go over. Would love to see the 16th hole.
