      ... t eaten anything apart from my ice cream since an 8:30AM breakfast). Our whole family, apart from mum who had a salad, had a pizza (as usual).       ... so glad that we did so as it proves to be one of our best dining experiences in Italy so far — just a simple neighbourhood corner trattoria, but friendly service, great food, and a good choice of quality wine by the half bottle.       Woke to the dulcet tones of the local garbage truck this morning...and motorbikes, screeching brakes, sirens, loud voices, doors and windows slamming, and another endless blue sky which made up for it all!
