Slow start this morning. The mozzies were going ballistic last night, as were the participants at the small bar on the next corner to our apartment. We both felt quite rung out when we woke up, as well as being very itchy from mozzie bites! It's also been quite humid over the last few days which, together with the 28-30 degree temperatures, has slowed us down a bit, and made it a bit difficult to sleep without the air conditioner on. So the roomies and myself decided we need to budget our spending, so instead of eating out all the time we would start cooking our own meals. Well, if anyone knows me, the food groups I stick to are Mac & Cheese, Cheeseburgers, Cookies, and Brownies! For starters, I may be the pickiest eater known to man and it doesn't help when I can't understand the food labels because they are all in Italian. We walked all over trying to find this "market" our landlord told us ...

... the accordion and sang to us. We headed into the hall where we had the most incredible 2 hour dinner with all the wine we could drink (and we did pretty good on that front). We started with an amazing antipasto, followed by pasta noodles and a piece of the best lasagna I have ever tasted (don't tell Mrs. Graffi). It was so good and so light that I would have loved a larger piece but our next course was pork and salad finished off with a bit of ...
